Purim How-To
The festival of Purim is celebrated every year on the 14th of the Hebrew month of Adar (late winter/early spring). It commemorates the salvation of the Jewish people in ancient Persia from Haman’s plot “to destroy, kill and annihilate all the Jews, young and old, infants and women, in a single day.”
To relive the miraculous events of Purim, we do the following four Mitzvot.
We will be having a Megillah reading on Wednesday evening, March 16th, 8:15pm at 121 Mooney St., Bradford
On Thursday, March 17th, the Megillah reading will take place 5pm at The Bradford Public Library, 425 Holland St. W. Bradford.
